Brent is a Canadian film director known for bringing out authentic performances on screen. He started his career as a photojournalist for the LA Times, where he truly learned how to create authentic content and help subjects to quickly become comfortable in front of the camera. In the meantime, his work has led him to more than 40 countries where he’s had a chance to eat crazy food ranging from sheep brains in Istanbul to bull testicles in Patagonia. This year, Brent has been shortlisted for The Young Director Awards and The Saatchi and Saatchi New Directors Showcase in Cannes, as well as The Shots Awards for New Director of the Year. Alongside his branded projects, Foster’s passion project entitled “While I’m Here | The Legacy Project” profiles everyday heroes passing on a legacy. The project has picked up Vimeo Staff Picks and multiple awards along the way and was featured in National Geographic's Short Film Showcase. ENOUGH landed Foster as a first-time finalist at the prestigious Ciclope Awards, a show celebrating the craft of filmmaking where he was up against the best directors in the world with budgets that dwarfed his.
